The main highlight of the month was Alaska Airlines’ proposed $1.9 billion acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines, which was announced last weekend.

The total fleet between the two companies will be nearly 400 aircraft, including Hawaiian’s Airbus A321neo planes. Alaska had retired the last ones it owned back in October, and now these jets will be part of the group again.
