MUMBAI- India’s largest domestic carrier, IndiGo Airlines (6E), has revealed plans to introduce flights connecting Mumbai (BOM) and Phuket (HKT), Thailand, along with the resumption of operations between Bengaluru (BLR) and Phuket. These new flight services aim to bolster connectivity between India and Thailand.

Considering the widespread popularity of Thailand as a favored destination among Indians, IndiGo is set to launch additional flights between Mumbai and Phuket starting January 5 and between Bengaluru and Phuket starting February 28.

IndiGo Thailand Flights

These newly introduced non-stop flights offer a comprehensive array of travel choices for both leisure and business travelers.

Operating six days a week, the flights from Mumbai and Bengaluru to Phuket are strategically scheduled to meet the travel demands of customers during the year-end holidays, as highlighted by airline officials.

With the advantage of visa-free entry to Thailand, IndiGo is expanding its connectivity to better cater to customers, aligning with its mission of ‘giving wings to the nation’—connecting people and aspirations.

This expansion brings IndiGo’s total weekly flights from five airports in India to Thailand to 56, including the recent additions.

Travelers also have the option to seamlessly connect across IndiGo’s extensive network of 117 destinations across India and the globe.

“Thailand has consistently been among the highly sought-after destinations renowned for its tropical beaches, shopping, entertainment, and intricate temples. With the inclusion of these flights, IndiGo will now offer 56 weekly connections between India and Thailand, with 13 flights per week between Mumbai and Phuket and 6 flights per week between Bengaluru and Phuket.”
