ITA Airways is expanding operations at London City Airport (LCY) by launching a twice daily service to Rome–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) in March 2024.
The Italian flag carrier will be the first airline to operate the route from LCY since the pandemic halted operations in 2020.
Italy’s flat-carrier will launch a new service from LCYRome, the capital of Italy, is a popular destination for leisure passengers with cultural and historical attractions. In addition, travellers can enjoy seamless connecting flights from ITA’s main hub at FCO to exciting destinations including Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires.
Rome will further expand London City’s connectivity to Europe and around the globe, building on existing services via Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Zurich.
