On its website, the airport said that the Geneva area has been hit by heavy rain in recent days, and that the “ground is very muddy”.

Passengers from other aircraft on the runway were able to capture footage of the private jet stuck on the grassy area, with the airport’s fire brigade surrounding the aircraft for assistance.
