The supersonic aircraft is due to take its first flight by 2027.
Boom Supersonic has selected Honeywell Aerospace's Anthem flight deck for its upcoming Overture aircraft, which, when completed, will be the world's fastest airliner. As part of the agreement, Honeywell Aerospace's next-generation technology and modular avionics platform will be incorporated into Overture's flight deck to provide enhanced situational awareness and safety. The interface also offers greater continuity for pilots of the supersonic aircraft, from simulator training through to actual flights.
