TOULOUSE- Turkish Airlines (TK), Türkiye’s national carrier, is set to bolster its fleet through an order for 220 Airbus aircraft, consisting of 150 A321s, Airbus’ top-selling model, and 70 A350 widebody aircraft renowned for their modernity and efficiency (comprising 50 A350-900s, 15 A350-1000s, and 5 A350F freighters).
This decision follows two previous orders placed by the airline, including ten A350-900s in September and four A350-900s in July 2023. With this latest order, Turkish Airlines’ comprehensive Airbus orderbook reaches 504, with 212 aircraft already delivered.

More than 5,600 A321neos have been ordered by a diverse customer base of over 100 worldwide.
The A350 stands as the most contemporary and efficient widebody aircraft globally, establishing itself as the long-range leader in the 300-410 seater category.
With the ability to operate efficiently across short-haul to ultra-long-haul routes spanning up to 9,700nm, its clean sheet design incorporates cutting-edge technologies, advanced aerodynamics, lightweight materials, and state-of-the-art engines.
This integration results in a 25% advantage in fuel burn, operating costs, and CO? emissions, along with a remarkable 50% reduction in noise compared to previous-generation competitor aircraft.
