SINGAPORE- Singapore Airlines (SQ) is set to introduce its first non-stop flights connecting Singapore (SIN) and London’s Gatwick Airport (LGW) in June 2024. The airline will operate these long-haul flights five times a week using the extended-range version of its Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

This addition, alongside the existing four daily services to London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR), will increase the total number of weekly services to the UK’s capital from 28 to 33. Additionally, SQ currently operates five weekly services to Manchester Airport (MAN).

Singapore Airlines London Gatwick Flights

Pending regulatory approval, flight SQ310 is scheduled to operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The inaugural flight is slated to depart from Singapore to Gatwick Airport at 23:55 hrs (local time) on June 21, 2024, arriving in London at 06:25 hrs (local time) on June 22, 2024.

The return leg, flight SQ309, will operate from Gatwick Airport to Singapore on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The inaugural return flight is scheduled to depart at 10:15 hrs (local time) on June 22, 2024, and will arrive in Singapore at 06:20 hrs on June 23, 2024.

This early morning arrival allows customers to connect to SQ and Scoot flights heading to various destinations across Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Singapore Airline’s long-haul A350-900s are equipped with 253 seats across three cabin classes: 42 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class, and 187 in Economy Class.

London’s Gatwick Airport serves as an ideal gateway for travelers looking to explore the capital and the South East of England.

The airport also offers convenient transport services into central London, with trains providing direct connections to major hubs such as London Blackfriars, London Bridge, City Thameslink, St. Pancras International, and London Victoria, where numerous key tourist attractions are situated.

Tickets for Singapore Airlines flights to London’s Gatwick Airport will be gradually released for sale through various distribution channels starting from December 19, 2023.
