It aims to achieve this by providing specialized Aircraft Specific Type Training Courses, both domestic and international degree programs, and supplementary courses covering areas such as Aircraft Structures, Aircraft Composite Courses, CAMO/Maintenance Planning courses, and Stores Management Courses.

In the year 2028, the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry is anticipated to experience substantial growth, projected to surpass $2.4 billion, compared to $800 million in 2018.
The government’s objective is to position India as a ‘Global MRO Hub,’ consequently generating a significant demand for skilled aircraft maintenance engineering professionals in the country.
In response to this demand, the GMR School for Aviation, in collaboration with Airbus, has introduced global training solutions for aviation professionals, adhering to the highest industry standards.

Pioneering the introduction of a fully integrated 4-Year AME Program in India, encompassing 2 years of academic study and 2 years of practical maintenance experience within the DGCA/EASA 145 environment. Trailblazing by being the first school in the nation to incorporate Aircraft system trainers for contemporary commercial airplanes, establishing new global standards in practical training. Course content, courseware, and ACT software align with Airbus training standards, facilitating virtual practical training sessions.
