MUMBAI- Vistara (UK), a full-service airline based in India, is extending its growth from Mumbai (BOM) by enhancing flight frequencies to two significant destinations, namely London (LHR) and Singapore (SIN).
Despite the impending merger with Air India (AI), the airline remains committed to expanding its network, particularly from the Mumbai hub.

Commencing March 1, 2024, the airline will elevate the frequency of flights between Mumbai (BOM) and London (LHR) from four times a week to a daily service.
Furthermore, starting February 1, 2024, Vistara will launch a second daily flight between BOM and Singapore (SIN), deploying its A321neo aircraft.
Starting March 1, 2024, the flight timetable for the Mumbai to London Heathrow route is outlined as follows:

Although Vistara has established a strong foothold in the Indian market, its international network has experienced substantial growth.
Specifically, departing from Mumbai, the airline serves a total of 14 international destinations, encompassing Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Dammam, Dhaka, Doha, Dubai, Frankfurt, Jeddah, London Heathrow, Male, Mauritius, Muscat, and Singapore.
The Mumbai-Doha route, inaugurated on December 15, saw the operation of an Airbus A321neo aircraft. Vistara strategically assigns its A321s to various medium-haul international flights, while its Dreamliners are utilized for long-haul journeys to European destinations.
Over the past few months, the airline has introduced multiple international routes, including Mumbai-Frankfurt, Delhi-Hong Kong, and Delhi-Bali.
In September, Vistara achieved a significant milestone by reaching the operational milestone of 300 daily flights.

Despite being on the brink of merging with Air India in less than a year, Vistara continues to improve its fleet and function independently.
The airline recently celebrated the arrival of its 50th Airbus A320neo, bringing its total fleet to 66 aircraft. This comprises 50 Airbus A320neo, 10 Airbus A321, and six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The increased capacity from the additional Dreamliners has facilitated the expansion of its European operations with more flights.
Vistara’s CEO, Vinod Kannan, has conveyed that the airline’s newly acquired aircraft will primarily be deployed to introduce additional international routes in the upcoming months.
In an interview with Bloomberg, he stated:
“We are committed to ongoing international expansion, anticipating sustained growth in demand. Within the first quarter of the next year, we plan to unveil two or three new routes.”
