KUALA LUMPUR- This week, Malaysia Airlines (MH) has initiated a step-by-step update of its international service adjustments for the Northern summer 2024 season, effective from March 31, 2024.
The latest information presented is based on a schedule comparison between December 10, 2023, and December 21, 2023. Routes with increased frequencies that are currently filed but unavailable for reservations are excluded from this update.

Additionally, operational variations for A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft, along with the ongoing rollout of re-configured 737-800 aircraft (notably, various regional routes start to list with aircraft designation 73H instead of 738 throughout the season), are also excluded from this update
On the Kota Kinabalu – Tokyo Narita route, there will be a seasonal service suspension from May 7, 2024, to July 28, 2024.
For the Kuala Lumpur – Bangalore route, effective March 31, 2024, the weekly service frequency will be increased to 11 flights, compared to the previously filed 9 weekly flights. The service will be operated by a 737-800 aircraft.
On the Kuala Lumpur – Bangkok Suvarnabhumi route, the 6th daily service will be maintained starting March 31, 2024. Additionally, the 737 MAX 8 aircraft will operate on specific flights: MH782/783 from March 29, 2024, and MH784/785 from July 1, 2024.
For the Kuala Lumpur – Denpasar route, the 737 MAX 8 aircraft will operate on MH853/852 from May 24, 2024, and MH851/850 from July 17, 2024.
The Kuala Lumpur – Ho Chi Minh City route will maintain a 19 weekly 737-800 service starting March 31, 2024, instead of the previously filed 15 weekly. The frequency will increase to 20 weekly from May 7, 2024, and to 21 weekly from July 12, 2024.
Starting July 1, 2024, the Kuala Lumpur – Hong Kong route will see an increase from 2 to 3 daily flights, all operated by the 737-800 aircraft.
The Kuala Lumpur – Jakarta route will no longer have the previously filed 7th daily flight, and the 737 MAX 8 aircraft will operate on MH711/710 from March 31, 2024, and MH725/724 from July 3, 2024.
For the Kuala Lumpur – Kochi route, the daily 737-800 service will be maintained starting March 31, 2024, instead of the previously filed 4 weekly flights.

Effective June 29, 2024, the Kuala Lumpur – Manila route will see an increase in frequency from 15 to 21 weekly flights, all operated by the 737-800. Starting July 3, 2024, flight MH806/807 will be served by the 737 MAX 8 aircraft, replacing the -800.
Flight Schedule:
MH806: KUL0810 – 1200MNL (737 MAX 8, Daily) MH704: KUL1010 – 1405MNL (737-800, Daily) MH804: KUL1725 – 2125MNL (737-800, Daily) MH805: MNL0650 – 1035KUL (737-800, Daily) MH807: MNL1250 – 1650KUL (737 MAX 8, Daily) MH705: MNL1505 – 1900KUL (737-800, Daily)Starting March 31, 2024, one of the two daily flights, MH149/148, will continue to be operated by a 300-seater A350-900XWB for the Kuala Lumpur- Melbourne route. This maintains a daily service with a mix of A330-300 and A350 aircraft.
On the Kuala Lumpur – Phnom Penh route, the frequency will increase from 13 weekly in NW23 to 14 weekly starting March 31, 2024. The 737 MAX 8 will operate on flights MH762/763 starting March 31, 2024, and MH754/755 starting June 24, 2024.
For the Kuala Lumpur – Phuket route, starting March 31, 2024, one of the two daily flights, MH786/787, will continue to be operated by the 737 MAX 8, replacing the -800.
On the Kuala Lumpur – Seoul Incheon route, starting March 31, 2024, seven of the twelve weekly services (MH066/067) will be available for reservation.
The Kuala Lumpur – Singapore route will see an increase in frequency from the previously filed 63 weekly flights to 68 weekly flights starting March 31, 2024, all operated by the 737-800.
For the Kuala Lumpur – Surabaya route, the 11 weekly 737-800 service will be maintained starting March 31, 2024, instead of the previously filed 10 weekly.
On the Kuala Lumpur – Tokyo Haneda route, the 5 weekly A350-900XWB service on/after March 31, 2024, remains unavailable for reservation.
From March 31, 2024, to July 5, 2024, flight MH088/089 will be operated by the A330-300, replacing the A350-900XWB for the Kuala Lumpur- Tokyo Narita route. This results in one daily A330 and five weekly A350 flights.
The Kuala Lumpur – Xiamen route is tentatively set for service resumption starting March 31, 2024, with three weekly 737-800 flights. Reservation details are not available at this time.
