Significant weather has caused havoc for many American travelers the last few days, as wintery conditions have hit the Midwest. With Christmas being one of the busiest times of year for travel, seven million Americans were under severe weather alerts as they woke up on Christmas morning. Heavy snow and freezing rain will last through the region until Wednesday.
