According to local media, Warsaw-Tashkent looks to be the next route set to be announced by LOT Polish Airlines.
As per Trend, a meeting took place between the CEO of the airline and diplomats from Uzbekistan, who have appeared to have finalised a deal.

Warsaw-Tashkent To Be LOT Polish Airlines’ Newest Route…

It is understood that demand for flights between Warsaw and Tashkent have been growing, hence the reason for the meetings and the overall decision from the LOT Polish Airlines CEO Michal Fijol.
Reports are stating that this particular flight with the Polish flag carrier could be operated on a four times per week basis, servicing 40,000 passengers per year.
That would result in 192 flights per year between the two cities with the airline, with an average of 208 passengers per flight.
This would result in the use of either the Boeing 787 or the 737 MAX 8 in LOT Polish Airlines’ fleet to service the Warsaw-Tashkent route, as per data from Planespotters.net.
As per Skyscanner, there are no direct flights between both cities at the moment, with the only viable option being with Wizz Air Abu Dhabi with a stopover.
Therefore, this would open up significant opportunities for LOT Polish Airlines as they can capture significant market share on the Warsaw-Tashkent route.
All eyes will be on the additional details yet to be announced by the Polish carrier, with services into the CIS region becoming more popular with airlines around Europe and the Middle East.
