Bombardier has received a firm order for 12 Challenger 3500 aircraft, valued at $326.4 million based on list prices.
The undisclosed customer chose the Challenger 3500 for its “performance, refined cabin and sustainably minded features.”
“Bombardier is proud that the Challenger 3500 jet sparks such confidence as the aircraft of choice for a vast majority of operators around the world, and continues to meet and exceed the expectations of its discerning clientele,” said Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier. “The Challenger 3500 jet is truly a force to be reckoned with, and this order is a clear demonstration that this platform offers the exceptional experience that clients are seeking.”
Deliveries of the 12 Challenger 3500 aircraft are scheduled to commence in the second half of 2025.
The Challenger 3500 is the modernized version of the best-selling Challenger 350. The Canadian manufacturer has sold more than 900 aircraft from the Challenger 300 family.
In Q3 2023, Bombardier achieved $1.9 billion in revenues, a significant 28% increase compared to the same period last year, despite the industry facing supply chain disruptions and workforce constraints.
