1.66 million people flew domestically in October.
Based on the latest Civil Aviation Authority data, the UK had 1.66 million domestic passengers in October 2023 (yes, that is the most recent month available). Spread equally but unfairly over 31 days, there were an average of about 53,700 daily passengers. Given the end of the two iterations of Flybe, much more working from home, changes to business travel, and much more, domestic traffic was 14% lower than in October 2019.
