Dublin Airport (DUB) completely halts operations on December 25 annually.
In an annual tradition, all flights at Dublin Airport (DUB) halted, and a chaplain blessed aircraft that were parked at the Irish capital’s airport. According to the airport’s statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, December 25 is the only day of the year when the airport is fully closed. “But we still had a skeleton team on duty to deal with emergencies - and also to escort airport chaplain Father Des Doyle as he carried out the annual blessing of the planes,” it added.
