Looking at data from RadarBox, it is evident that San Diego International Airport (SAN) has surpassed its pre-pandemic levels.
In this article we’ll dive into the data from RadarBox which showcases San Diego’s current traffic levels compared to what the airport saw in 2019 pre-pandemic.

In terms of movements from 2019, during the week running throughout December San Diego (SAN) was handling an average daily movements of 618 flights.
In the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic the U.S. west coast airport saw the same period in 2020 drop to 348 average daily movements, which was a decline of -43.69%.
However, looking into now 2023, the airport is now back in its growth phase currently handling an average of 628 daily movements.

American Airlines averages 46 daily services. Frontier Airlines averages 14 daily services. NetJets averages 12 daily services. Spirit Airlines averages 11 daily services.
