Transport Aérien Transrégional (Touraine Air Transport), or TAT European Airlines as it was later called, began life as a French regional airline in 1968. Based at Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF), located north-northeast of Tours in the Loire Valley, TAT began offering regional flights with a single Beechcraft Model 99.
