AviationUpdatesPH.com – Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) capped off a strong 2023 by completing its target of 19 aircraft and engine deliveries, bolstering its capacity and reaffirming its commitment to affordable air travel for Filipinos.

The airline received a mix of Airbus A330neo, A321neo, A320neo, and A320ceo models in November and December, bringing its total commercial fleet to 77 aircraft. This marks a significant expansion, allowing CEB to cater to the growing demand for air travel as the Philippines continues its post-pandemic recovery.

"Cebu Pacific achieved a historic milestone with a record number of aircraft deliveries this year," said Alex Reyes, CEB Chief Strategy Officer. "These additions to our fleet not only bolster our capacity to fly more passengers but also underscore our commitment to ensure every Juan gets to fly to their destinations."

Further reinforcing its capacity, the low-cost airline signed a damp lease agreement with Bulgaria Air for two Airbus A320ceo aircraft in December, which will be deployed to key domestic destinations: Cebu and Davao.

With its diversified fleet mix, now featuring eight Airbus A330s, 35 Airbus A320s, 20 Airbus A321s, and 14 ATR turboprop aircraft, CEB boasts one of the youngest fleets in the world. This translates to improved operational efficiency, reliability, and passenger comfort.
