There are various routes you can take to a particular destination. There are different ways to get a job done. There are different methods you can use in baking, this depends on what you have in mind to achieve. I’m going to share these methods with you and would be looking forward to your views on them in the comment section below.

Rubbing in method: Here, you have to get your hands dirty. I call it giving that butter a massage in flour. This method is used mostly in making bread. If done properly. It would give you that unique texture.

Whisking method: This method just has you mixing all the liquid ingredients together with a whisk then slowly adding flour. This method is used in baking things like velvet cakes and cookies.

Creaming method: this is the most common method I grew up seeing. Here you mix the butter and sugar together to get a very light creamy texture before adding other ingredients. This method is also used in baking cakes. It gives its own unique texture.

Blind bake method: This method requires you to bake your dough at a certain temperature before feeling it. This enables it to stand better and get a better shape.
