What you’ll need

Honey  Red chili flakes (adjust the heat level to suit your tastes) Apple cider vinegar

How to make hot honey

Heat honey and red chili flakes in a small saucepan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Do not bring it to a boil, or the honey will run the risk of crystallizing. Promptly remove from the heat and stir in the apple cider vinegar. Pour it into a jar (or a bowl if using right away). You can also strain it through a fine mesh strainer to remove the red pepper flakes, for a clear hot honey syrup. Easy Hot Honey

Storing hot honey

Store it in a tightly sealed lidded jar in your cupboard for up to 6 weeks, then transfer it to your refrigerator. Once refrigerated, it may run the risk of crystallizing. Heat through to re-liquify before using.
