Char-Broil just released a new griddle that is sure to get looks from anyone in the market. Not only does it look good, it also has all the features you’d want from a griddle, including the price.

Griddle Key FeaturesWhat Makes This Griddle Special?
The griddle space is one of the most competitive of all outdoor cooking at this point. Griddles are pretty simple devices, they’re just burners under a griddle plate. What makes the Performance Series are the little details that make cooking easier.
Trash Bag Holder
This griddle comes equipped with a trash bag holder, which helps make cooking easier and cleaner. You notice it the most when cooking breakfast on a griddle. You looking to throw away plastic wrap from bacon, egg shells, cheese wrappers, etc. Having a trash bag right under the side table means you can keep your focus on cooking.
Large Wheels
Usually griddles come with four casters to be able to move it around. If you’re like me, you keep your griddle in the garage and wheel it out to use it. Casters sometimes don’t cut it on concrete expansion joints. Thankfully, the Char-Broil Performance Series Griddle has two large wheels and two casters to make it easier to move.
Towel Bar
Does a towel bar really deserve its own section in this article? It does, because it’s another little detail that maximizes the utility of the griddle, and something you don’t see in other griddles. In addition to the two side shelves and two bottom shelves, the towel bar give you an easy spot for a towel to hang. That’s a nice feature because griddling can be messy business.
Char-Broil Performance Series 36? Griddle Cooking SpaceWhat is it Missing?
This griddle is pretty feature packed for its price point. We really only see two things that we wished it had. The first is the side tables aren’t collapsible. That makes the griddle take up quite a bit of storage when it’s not in use.
The second is based on preference, but some people like to cook with paper towels, as opposed to cloth towels. While it does have a built-in towel rack, there’s no paper towel holder.
