It was a relatively quiet day for the Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball as a whole as we continue through the holiday season. With the new year quickly approaching, arbitration figures will soon be exchanged, the international signing period will open, and Hall of Fame results will be announced, so there will be plenty of upcoming news. Braves News:
The Mississippi Braves could potentially relocate to Columbus, Georgia after the 2024 season, per report.
Our 2023 season in review series continues with Raisel Iglesias and minor leaguer Luke Waddell.
MLB News:
The Toronto Blue Jays and center fielder Kevin Keirmaier agreed to a one-year deal worth $10.5M. The 33-year-old can also earn more in incentives.
The Cleveland Guardians acquired outfielder Estevan Florial from the New York Yankees in exchange for right-hander Cody Morris.
The Chicago White Sox signed catcher MartÍn Maldonado to a one-year contract. The deal includes a club option for 2025.
