Each MLB offseason, fans sit around waiting to see where some of the biggest stars end up.
In baseball, unlike other sports, the best players usually hit the open market in search of the largest contract possible.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have been one team that has feasted on that opportunity this year.
The Dodgers have already spent over $1 billion on free agents this winter.
All of that money was spent on just two players.
Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto have both signed with the Dodgers on huge deals.
Both are going to be significant money-makers for the Dodgers, both on and off the field.

There will not be a team with more hype around them than the 2024 Dodgers.
This roster is loaded and they are the heavy favorites to win the World Series.
Yamamoto is expected to be an ace atop the Dodgers rotation in his very first year.
He has all the makings of a dominant starter with a high-90s fastball and elite off-speed pitches.
You can bet both Ohtani and Yamamoto will be two of the highest-selling jerseys this year.
Every fan wants a piece of the new star player.
The Dodgers just happen to have both of them.
We have seen many players make an easy transition from Japan to MLB.
Yamamoto should have no problem getting hitters out in America.
It will be fun to see Yamamoto in his first season as Dodger, and you can bet the hype around him will be extraordinary.
