If you have ever thought of doing a couple’s boudoir session, let this be the push that you need. Couple’s shoots are a wonderful way to get more intimate with your partner, to have a super fun date, and to document your relationship so you can look back on your love for years. SO OFTEN the only photos that couple’s have are selfies or from a phone, and they deserve better! Let’s show your love the way you live it: the quirky, the sexy, and the unique bond that you have at this exact moment on earth. Letting a photographer behind-the-scenes of your relationship is a life-changing experience you'll always remember.

Lindsey is a wonderful repeat client of mine who has graciously referred me to her friends as well, and she couldn’t resist getting her man Wayne in on the action! Photoshoots are like Pringles, once you pop…

Example of a previous photoshoot Lindsey and I did.

Before all of my shoots I provide pre-consultations, questionnaires, assist in picking out outfits, location scouting, and any other help my clients need. With it being Wayne's first ever photoshoot, I was happy to guide them through the process. They decided to start with a more formal look then slowly transition into baring it all. We were telling a story of a couple who just got home from a fancy date and kept the chemistry going when they got home!

It was also important for this couple to show off all their hard work they've put into their bodybuilding practices. I have to say, since Lindsey became a client of mine I have learned SO much about the fitness and bodybuilding competition culture! It's fascinating and I love hearing the stories of why these individuals got involved, their determination is so inspiring. I've learned little tricks of how to best photograph muscles, like giving them a countdown to flex before I click the shutter so that way they're not exhausting themselves flexing for long periods of time.

Every couple I photograph is so unique and has very different PDA comfort levels, and I leave the decision of clothing (or no clothing!) entirely up to them. It's always a joy to learn about these levels of comfort, and seeing them open up in front of the camera is magical. Respecting boundaries is my top priority, and model releases are ALWAYS optional.

We found an amazing location in Seattle that was surprisingly affordable, and SO swanky! A lot of people ask me about my locations, and my secret is www.peerspace.com. Think of it like an Airbnb for photoshoots, you can rent incredible locations by the hour!

The session was fantastic, we opted for later in the day for a moody setting. Setting the vibe with the right Playlist was key, we just had a lot of fun laughing and photographing their sweet relationship! I'm so grateful for amazing clients like these!!
