Julia Kay Boudoir is a Claremont Dramatic Boudoir Photographer and Studio located in the Historic Packinghouse in Claremont, California, only thirty minutes from Downtown Los Angeles. Here are a few words from Miss S about her entire boudoir experience with us.
“I had been looking for a boudoir photographer for a few months before I found Julia Kay Boudoir. I looked all over LA and OC and then one day I thought, let me look near me…and what do you know, one of the best boudoir photographers and the studio is 5 minutes away from me! I had never done anything like this before, but I was a member of a Brides of 2021 Facebook group and everyone kept mentioning boudoir shoots. I already got married but figured, what a nice present this would be for my husband AND ME. I had lost 15 pounds during quarantine and had been wanting to find a way to document this moment, and now I figured out how to do it!
Fast forward to the day of the shoot. I was nervous! But Brianna, the studio manager, and Lex, the hair and makeup artist were so much fun to work with. It felt like I knew them forever. Lex did an amazing job and I am very particular with who does my makeup. I have had bad experiences in the past, but Lex listened to my concerns and made sure I was happy with my final look – which I was!
The client closet has so many good choices! I have never really worn lingerie before so this was a fun experience for me. I really liked how Julia and Brianna did not rush me through trying on and deciding on my outfits. I really appreciated that.
“The photoshoot – I thought I would feel really awkward…
BUT – it was SO MUCH FUN!”
How many more of these can I do before it’s too many? Julia and Brianna are so great to work with. I felt so comfortable with them very quickly. I felt like I was a model being pampered. They help with everything – placement of hair, placement of lingerie, how to pose, all of it! I cannot tell you how much fun I had. I walked out of there feeling so good. I want to tell everyone I know that you MUST DO A BOUDOIR SHOOT WITH JULIA! When I got to see my shots (prior to editing) – I couldn’t believe it was me. Julia is a truly luxury boudoir photographer and has a great eye for capturing you at your best. Seriously – I couldn’t believe how good I looked.
Do yourself a favor – You literally just have to show up with clean hair and a moisturized face, and they provide everything else to make you the queen you are. I would do it all over again if I could, and – I will.”
