Why did I wait 10 years to do this?
“Ten years! It took me ten years to do this as a birthday gift for my husband.
I was always thinking, “My hair isn’t long enough” or “I want to lose five pounds.”
Or mostly because I am very, very awkward in front of the camera. It was excuse after excuse.
And after finally doing the photoshoot, I’m like “Why on earth did I wait so long?” It was hands-down one of the coolest, most amazing experiences of my life!
I was very nervous walking into the studio. I’m not going to lie. I was super, super, SUPER nervous!
But the minute I stepped foot in the studio, the photographer just sprinkled her magic and was like, “All right girl, let’s go! You’re going to do this, you’re going to rock it. You’re going to own it and you’re going to be amazing!”
And yeah, I WAS amazing!

I got my hair done, I got my makeup done, I felt like a million dollars! There are no other words other than that I felt and looked like a million dollars.
To say that this was a birthday present for my hubby makes me laugh because I felt like the day was all about ME! It was really cool!
