How old were you are your session? 49
What made you decide to book a session? I was trying to build my body confidence and feel like a woman again. I've been identifying as a boy mom for over 14yrs now and felt like I had lost touch with my feminine side
What was originally holding you back from booking a session? My weight was originally holding me back. I was nervous about not being my ideal weight and my idea of perfect before investing in a session.
What were you most nervous about for your session? I was really worried I wouldn't like any pictures of myself when I saw them. I'm very self critical.
What were you most looking forward to prior to your session? I was looking forward to getting done up and trying to feel sexy. Whenever I saw photos of other women and there session, I was like "damn!, I want to look and feel like that."
How did you feel about yourself before your session? I was feeling sort of just average and still overweight headed into my session appointment pre makeup and shoot. I actually thought about cancelling and just eating my deposit prior to it because I was nervous.
Describe your experience. It was an amazing experience. Lisa and Tiara are really easy to feel comfortable around and made the experience fun and enjoyable. I never felt uncomfortable half naked walking around the studio and I laughed and just naturally smiled a lot because it felt like such a comfortable and genuine experience.
How did you feel about yourself after your session? I felt empowered and super confident and sexy. I put on a dress that night and went out to dinner feeling like I owed the place and the crowd. My boyfriend couldn't stop staring at me and telling me how stunning of a woman I was.
Were you nervous before viewing your images? I was nervous about viewing my pictures but also really excited because I saw a few raw photos during the shoot so I knew there were definitely some good ones in there. I was actually pleasantly surprised how man good one there were.
How did you feel about yourself after seeing your images? I couldn't believe it was me. It looked like me only way sexier than I picture myself when I think of me. It was actually really difficult to cut pictures from the final book.
What were your favorite products? The usb and the 16x24 portrait
What would you tell anyone interested in, but maybe hesitant, booking a session of their own? Do it now! Don't wait to be some perfect image of yourself. I remember being twenty something and 30 lbs lighter than I am now and thinking I was fat. Most of us, always have something we are going to pick on that prevents us from ever seeing ourselves as beautiful enough to memorialize ourselves in lingerie. Tiara will have you looking stunning and Lisa will find and capture all of your best attributes. Lisa was also good about not capturing the places I told her I was really self conscious about, like my inner thighs. She'd have me position myself in ways where that wasn't even an issue. My only regret is not doing this sooner.
How as working with Lisa and the makeup artists? Wonderful. They were professional, yet fun and easy to be comfortable around.
