Seattle, WA – July 2, 2024 – Seattle Cider Company is thrilled to announce the grand reopening of its newly rebranded tasting room, Seattle Cider Taproom. Formerly known as The Woods tasting room, the space has undergone a complete transformation. This elevated venue proudly showcases all the craft cider made onsite just feet away from the taproom. The unique and comprehensive tasting experience at Seattle Cider Taproom also includes craft beer and wine from around the Pacific Northwest and a carefully curated selection of non-alcoholic options including locally produced NA beer and kombucha. Seattle Cider Taproom is the first, exclusively branded tasting room experience for the Seattle Cider brand showcasing its world-class, award-winning ciders, small batch, limited release ciders, and celebrated core line. Grand Reopening Event: Date: July 19, 2024 Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Location: Seattle Cider Taproom, 4660 Ohio Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134 To celebrate the grand reopening, Seattle Cider Taproom will host a festive event featuring live music and a selection of special draft releases. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the new ambiance of the taproom, which has been designed to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for cider and beer enthusiasts alike. Event Highlights: Live Music: Scratch Cats Jazz Band will perform al fresco throughout the evening. Special Draft Releases: The event will showcase exclusive draft releases crafted specifically for this celebration. Sweet Summer (6.9% ABV, 1.5 Brix) is a coferment with raspberry juice, infused with rose hips and back sweetened with clover honey. It tastes like fresh raspberries picked from the vine, with the whispers of clover and rose throughout - reminiscent of an evening summer picnic in the garden. Beached Boiz (7.5%, 1.8 Brix) mango, guava, and lime cider has a tropical fruit nose with a hint of lime; its well-balanced mango and guava flavors blend seamlessly with the apple and it finishes with a little kick of citrus. Curated Tasting Menu: A carefully selected tap menu featuring the best of Seattle Cider Company's craft ciders alongside a selection of craft beers from our brewing partners. Special Menu from Bread & Circuses: The brick-and-mortar restaurant inside Seattle Cider Taproom will offer delicious menu specials for the event. “We are incredibly excited to welcome the community to Seattle Cider Taproom,” said Scott Katsma, Brand Development Manager of Seattle Cider Company. “Our goal was to create a space that not only prioritizes our exceptional cider but also embraces the vibrant craft beverage culture of Seattle. We can’t wait for everyone to experience the new home of Seattle Cider Co. and are looking forward to celebrating with you all.” The Seattle Cider Taproom will be open seven days a week, offering regular hours for tastings, events, and private bookings. Guests are encouraged to visit and explore the diverse range of flavors that Seattle Cider Company has to offer, including exclusive small-batch ciders that can’t be found anywhere else but at the source.
