PRESS RELEASE / December 8, 2023 (Everett, MA) – Night Shift Brewing’s first ever holiday ale, Owl I Want For Christmas, is now available in both cans and on draft at both locations – just in time for Mariah Carey’s holiday show at TD Garden on Monday.

Owl I Want for Christmas is a Holiday Belgian-style witbier that gets the sleigh bells ringing. Night Shift has never made a quintessential “holiday ale” – ale with winter spices, ginger, orange, all that jazz. So, this year, they decided they’d finally do it. And why not lean into it BIG, and take inspiration from the #1 played Christmas song of all time, All I Want For Christmas by Mariah Carey. The name is obviously a Night Shift riff on that, and the label is heavily inspired by the infamous album cover art of “Merry Christmas” – the album featuring that song. They’re shamelessly diving headfirst into the holiday fanfare.
To keep the festive Christmas spirits high, the Everett Taproom has also released their first holiday cocktail menu, with 5 festive takes on seasonal classics.  World’s Best Cup of Hot Cocoa – if an orange spritz and hot chocolate were combined – rum, orange spritz, whipped cream, orange zest Holiday Hot Toddy – bourbon, cranberry, cloves, star anise and cinnamon stick Pinkmas – vanilla, strawberry, oatmilk, frosting, candy cane Frosty Mule – vodka, cranberry, lime, ginger beer, sugared cranberries Owlnog – bourbon, eggnog, whipped cream, nutmeg

About Night Shift Brewing

Night Shift Brewing has its roots in a small kitchen on Josephine Ave in Somerville, MA. In 2007, Co-Founders Rob, Mike, and Michael began homebrewing at night, making beers for friends and family that they hoped were more delicious than the commercial options on shelves. In 2012, the trio moved their hobby to a small Everett warehouse and launched the business. Today, Night Shift Brewing operates MA locations in Boston and Everett, and distributes beer throughout MA, CT, ME, NH, NY, PA, RI, VT, NJ, MD and DC. Night Shift’s mantra is “all styles welcome” – they exist to celebrate and welcome all beverages, all people, and all ideas. Anyone who wants a seat at their table has one. The brewery maintains a relentless focus on the three values: integrity, innovation, and inclusivity.
