?SAN DIEGO, CA (March 7, 2023) - Pucks & Pints, one of the most anticipated charity sports�and beer events held in San Diego is back for a fifth year! The festivities kick off on April 8th,�2023, at Pechanga Arena San Diego. This epic hockey-focused day includes a Brewers��Hockey Game, Beer and BBQ festival at Modern Times featuring Phil�s BBQ and local craft�beers, and entrance to the San Diego Gulls vs. Calgary Wranglers hockey game.
�Pucks & Pints originated with colleagues in the brewing industry from Societe Brewing, Stone�Brewing, and Thorn Brewing, all long-time hockey players, combining their passion for craft�brewing and hockey to provide charitable good.� Todd Webster from Thorn Brewing explains.��What has transpired with the event's growth in a short time is amazing. This year marks our 5th�Pucks & Pints event, and with our new partnership with Modern Times Brewing, the excitement�and energy has grown to an entirely new level,� Webster continues. �The brewing community�and our sponsors continue to rally to elevate the celebration of hockey, craft beer, and charity,�with even more brewery involvement, delicious food donated by Phil's BBQ, and exciting action�from the San Diego Gulls. All of this effort culminates in raising awareness and supporting our�worthy charities that are so critical to the communities of San Diego.�
All of the proceeds from the event support four local charities, Emilio Nares Foundation, Boys &�Girls Clubs of San Diego, ResQue Ranch, and the San Diego Brewers Guild.
