Shooting Forward  DeMar DeRozan scored 24 points and got 6 rebounds as well as 4 assists as the Chicago Bulls (15-19) once again offensively dominated the floor on the Philadelphia 76ers (22-10) at the United Center, 105-92.

The Chicago Bulls come into this game after a tough loss on Thursday vs the Indiana Pacers where Center  Myles Turner had quite a performance scoring 24 points and putting up 6 rebounds. The 76ers enter this matchup with a good run, with back to back wins against the Orlando Magic and Houston Rockets with a score of 112-92 and 131-127 respectively.

The Bulls won last time out when these teams faced each other in a very close, contested matchup which finished 108-104 loss at home. This time around was no different as the Bulls were once again able to show their offensive prowess and get the job done at home.

Chicago Bulls Win! The First Half was a close contest

The first two quarters of the half were both in favor of the Bulls in terms of scoring, but the first half didn’t see the Bulls dominating. On the contrary, as the Bulls were in the lead by five to six points in both quarters. The first quarter ended with the Bulls in a narrow five-point lead of 21-17. The second quarter also ended with the Bulls only in a narrow four-point lead of 35-31. The Bulls lead after the half 56-48 with a slim 7 point lead. The main performer of the half which put the Bulls in the lead was actually two separate players in Shooting Forward DeRozan with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and Point Guard Coby White with also 15 points as well as 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

Chicago Bulls Win! Bulls seal the win in the Second Half

The third and fourth quarters were once again tight in scoring, but the Bulls were able to outscore their opponents and get the win. The third quarter ended 24-23 with the Bulls barely in a one-point lead. Main performer in that quarter was Shooting Guard Alex Caruso who racked up 6 points and 1 assist. The Pacers also had their main reference on the court who was trying to help them tie the game, Point Guard Tyrese Maxey with 6 points and 2 assists. The fourth quarter then ended with the Bulls in another narrow lead of 25-21, but they were able to get over the line offensively and win with a final score of 105-92.

The Bulls will look to end their inconsistent run and brew something positive from this win as they start the new year with a home game at United Center vs the 76ers on Tuesday, January 2nd at 6:00 pm.
