Depleted Brentford will be seeking some festive cheer when they welcome Wolves to the Gtech Community Stadium in the Premier League on Wednesday.

A combination of injuries and suspensions has taken its toll on Thomas Frank's squad over recent weeks and that has been reflected in their results, as they have lost five of their last six matches.

Wolves were also struggling for wins prior to their Christmas Eve success over Chelsea, but Gary O'Neil will be hoping his side can take advantage of their hosts' struggles by claiming a positive result on the road.

Brentford vs Wolves Tips

Total Wolves Goals - Over 1.5 @ 9/4 #PickYourPunt - Double Chance (Wolves/Draw) & Matheus Cunha to score anytime @ 7/2

Match Odds

Brentford may have lost each of their last three matches and five of their previous six, but they are 19/20 to get the better of 11/4 Wolves, while the draw is available at 5/2.

The Bees have opened the scoring in four of their last five home fixtures and are 4/6 to grab the first goal on Wednesday, while Wolves are 6/4 to break the deadlock.

Team News

Brentford could have as many as 10 first-term regulars missing on Wednesday, with Rico Henry, Bryan Mbeumo, Aaron Hickey, Kevin Schade, Kristoffer Ajer and Josh Dasilva all sidelined through injury, while Frank Onyeka, Ben Mee and Ivan Toney are suspended.

The one positive note for the Bees is Mathias Jensen is being assessed and could play some part after over a month on the sidelines with an adductor injury.

Wolves could be boosted by the return to the matchday squad of forward Pedro Neto, who is battling his way back from a hamstring issue. Craig Dawson is expected to shake off the knee injury he picked up against Chelsea while Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is back in contention following illness.

Total Wolves Goals - Over 1.5 @ 9/4

Wolves have spent recent seasons struggling for goals, but that has not been the case this term, as they have netted in 16 of their 18 Premier League matches to date.

That run includes scoring in seven of their previous eight top-flight road games, during which time they have struck twice at Fulham, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.

Against a depleted Brentford that are without a clean-sheet in seven, Wolves will feel they are capable of scoring more than once at the Gtech Community Stadium as well.

#PickYourPunt - Double Chance (Wolves/Draw) & Matheus Cunha to score anytime @ 7/2

Brentford have lost five of their last six games in the Premier League and they also have a poor recent record when facing Wolves, as the Bees have won just one of the last eight meetings between the two sides.

Wolves are unbeaten on their last four visits to Brentford and are worth backing in the double chance market as part of any #PickYourPunt.

With goals also expected in west London, Wolves forward Matheus Cunha could be worth including as an anytime scorer, as he has netted in three of his last five away games, while four of his five goals this season in the Premier League have come away from Molineux.
