There are plenty of mouthwatering matchups to chase the NFL's best offensive players on the docket for Week 16. As always we're swinging for the fences with our weekly NFL DFS lineup.

NFL DFS Lineup Week 17

For the purpose of our weekly NFL DFS lineup, we're playing the standard lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, a TE, a Flex spot and D/ST within a $50,000 budget.

DFS Lineup Week 17

Here's our optimized NFL DFS Lineup for this Sunday's action

QB: Matthew Staffod

$6,600

RB: Ezekiel Elliott

$6,000

RB: James Conner

$5,900

WR: A.J. Brown

$8,600

WR: Davante Adams

$7,400

WR: Rashid Shaheed

$4,600

TE: Kyle Pitts

$4,100

Flex: Alec Pierce

$3,900

D/ST: Denver Broncos

$2,900

Quarterback: Matthew Stafford

Los Angeles Rams vs New York Giants

Stafford has been on a heater as of late, tossing tossing multiple touchdown passes in each of his last five games.

The 35-year-old gunslinger's completed 69% of his passes for 1,578 yards with 15 scores and just two interceptions as the Rams have won five of their past six. He's an excellent DFS play on New Year's Eve against a New York Giants defense allowing over 18 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks since Week 11.

Running Back: Ezekiel Elliott

New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills

Ezekiel Elliott is now one of the NFL's greatest pass-catchers out of the backfield. With 25 targets and 22 catches over the past three games, Zeke has become a fantasy starter since Rhamondre Stevenson went down. He's put up 20+ PPR points in two of the last three games, as is Bailey Zappe's security blanket.

The Bills aren't a great matchup for running backs, but Zeke could have a big game as Zappe's main outlet in the passing game.

Running Back: james Conner

Arizona Cardinals vs Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have allowed over 20 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs over the last five weeks. That's great news for a resurgent James Conner, who's seen at least 17 touches and averaged 20.8 PPR fantasy points over his last three games.

Conner punished the strong defensive fronts of Pittsburgh and San Francisco, before leading the Cardinals in receiving last week. He's the engine that makes the Arizona offense go, and is a massive value at just $5,900. Start James Conner.

Wide Receiver: A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles vs Arizona Cardinals

With 101 catches for 1,394 yards and seven touchdowns on the year, A.J. Brown is a certified NFL superstar. The 5th-year wideout has seen double-digit targets in each of the past four games, and is an amazing bet to pop off on Sunday.

After all, Brown ranks in the top-ten in target share (32.4%), air yards share (42.5%), yards after catch (453), and yards per route run (2.62) this season. He's one of the NFL's most dangerous weapons with seven games of 100+ receiving yards already this season. Start A.J. Brown in your Week 17 DFS lineup.

Wide Receiver: Davante Adams

Las Vegas Raiders vs Indianapolis Colts

While he caught just one pass for four yards last week, this is still Davante Adams. He's having a down year due to inconsistent quarterback play, but Adams remains a top-tier NFL wide receiver.

Adams ranks third in target share (32%), and second in red zone targets with 20 on the year. Also, the 2022 All-Pro has seen double-digit targets in four of his past six games and will be able to exploit a vulnerable Colts secondary allowing a touchdown a game to opposing wide receivers.

Wide Receiver: Rashid Shaheed

New Orleans Saints vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Shaheed has a chance to explode against a Buccaneers secondary allowing an NFL-high 289 passing yards per game over their last three contests.

— NFL Fantasy Football (@NFLFantasy) December 22, 2023

One of the fastest players in the league, Rashid hauled in five of nine target for 70 yards and a score last week. He'll see a similar workload against the worst secondary in the NFL this season. Also, the Bucs allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Shaheed is the definition of a DFS value play in Week 17.

Tight End: Kyle Pitts

Atlanta Falcons vs Chicago Bears

We're betting on Pitts' upside with this play, as the Chicago Bears have allowed the second-most fantasy to tight ends since Week 9 at 19.6 per game.

The former fourth overall pick has seen 22 targets in the last four games, and scored two touchdowns in that span. Bet on Pitts to find the endzone and slot him in to your Week 17 DFS lineup.

FLEX: Alec Pierce

Indianapolis Colts vs Las Vegas Raiders

Alec Pierce has seen twelve targets over the past two games, and is a value DFS play if Michael Pittman remains in concussion protocol.

The former Cincinnati Bearcat sits 8th in the NFL in average depth of target, and has a chance to light up the Raiders on Sunday. With both teams desperate to win and stay in the AFC Playoff picture, Colts-Raiders is sure to produce fireworks. Slot Pierce into your DFS lineup and reap the rewards.

D/ST: Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers

If you hadn't noticed, the Los Angeles Chargers have been brutal since Justin Herbert went down for the year, managing to score just 16.7 points per game over their last three. Los Angeles has turned the ball over seven times, and allowed 14 sacks in that span, as Easton Stick has struggled to do anything positive under center.

Remember, the Broncos beat up on Los Angeles 24-7 in Week 14, racking up six sacks and two turnovers. They're a great bet for a repeat performance on Sunday.
