Wolves vs Everton Prediction: Wolves to make it three wins on the spin
Wolverhampton Wanderers will be seeking a third consecutive victory to round off 2023, when they welcome Everton to Molineux on Saturday afternoon (15:00).
The hosts followed up their excellent victory over Chelsea on Christmas Eve by thumping Brentford in midweek, while the Toffees lost to Manchester City at Goodison Park in their most recent outing.
Wolves vs Everton Prediction
Wolves to win and both teams to score @ 16/5 Matheus Cunha to score anytime @ 21/10Team News
Craig Dawson, Hwang Hee-Chan, Fabio Silva and Boubacar Traore are all doubts for Wolves ahead of Saturday’s game.
Everton, meanwhile, are still without Dele Alli and Idrissa Gueye, while Seamus Coleman, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ashley Young all set to be absent.
Match Odds
Wolves are 8/5 to make it three wins on the spin, while Everton are 7/4 to take the three points back to Merseyside and the draw can be backed at 9/4.
Both teams to score is 8/11, and over 2.5 goals is EVS.
Wolves to win and both teams to score @ 16/5
Wolves have picked up some major victories on home soil this season, beating Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea, and they should be able to add to that tally here, in my opinion.
The Toffees enter Saturday’s game on the back of three-straight defeats across all competitions, although two of those did come against tough opposition in Manchester City and Tottenham, but nevertheless, Sean Dyche's men have hit a little bit of a sticky patch.
Both teams have scored in nine of Wolves’ last 10 home games, and Everton haven't failed to score in a game since their 3-0 defeat to Manchester United in November, so I believe both sides can get on the scoresheet on Saturday.
Matheus Cunha to score anytime @ 21/10
Matheus Cunha has five goals for Wolves this term, and he's averaging 1.31 shots on target per 90 minutes, so I think he's a decent shout for anytime goalscorer.
The Brazilian recorded an assist in the 4-1 win over Brentford on Wednesday, although his last goal came in the 1-1 stalemate with Nottingham Forest.
That's not to say he won't get chances here though - the former Atletico Madrid forward has taken 35 shots across 19 Premier League games, and he'll fancy his chances of netting against an Everton side that have shipped five goals in their last two games.
