As summer fades there’s no denying it, the days are drawing in and before we know it, Autumn will be upon us! The time of year that English poet, John Keats, describes as ‘Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness’, is the perfect time to pause from the everyday rush and take time out… Enjoy the amazing places on our own shores…be it revisiting that special place or exploring somewhere new.
New to B&B Nationwide, we are delighted to introduce Riverbank Bed & Breakfast – a newly refurbished, licensed B&B on the banks of the River Irfon in Llanwrtyd Wells and close to the Brecon Beacons National Park. For those travelling on 2 wheels, this biker-friendly B&B offers secure storage for motorbikes and bicycles, ensuring peace of mind for guests. EV charging is also available. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Welsh countryside and experience a truly memorable stay at this riverside retreat!
Due to popular demand, we have collated a new Collection of B&Bs with Secure Cycle Storage for those of you with pedal power!
Some of our properties have ground floor rooms available for guests. One such property is Yew Tree Farm, a charming B&B in the village of North Rode between Congleton and Macclesfield. The country cottage-style rooms offer a cosy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The property is well located for exploring The Potteries, magnificent historic houses nearby and the Peak District National Park. Manchester Airport is only 30 minutes away, making it easily accessible for travellers.
Another welcome additional option at some of our B&Bs is the provision of evening meals by prior arrangement. Huntlands Farm B&B is a beautifully restored 15th-century red brick and timber Georgian fronted home, located on the border of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. This family-run establishment situated on a 500-acre working farm, provides guests with a glimpse of the rural lifestyle. Hosts, Stephen, a passionate cook and Lucy, who loves to upholster, guarantee a memorable stay. For an additional charge, guests can enjoy a 2 or 3 course evening meal, from a choice of traditional English food or a Caribbean feast! Huntlands Farm is also an ideal base for Lucy’s popular Upholstery Courses run from her garden workshop.
