Our guests enjoy living like a local, a spring snowfall and world class synchronized skating competition.
We had a fantastic mother daughter duo visit recently and we loved getting to know them. They came to the Whiteface Region to watch the synchronized skating competition at the Olympic rink in Lake Placid. (Check the ORDA website for all their upcoming events here: https://lakeplacidlegacysites.com/calendar/ ). Our guests said they chose to stay with us because they didn’t want to be in the tourist center of Lake Placid but instead wanted to get a feel for the area and what it’s like to live as a local.
Fresh, home cooked, always from scratch breakfasts at Whiteface Farm Bed and Breakfast.
Mom started the day with Buck’s pancakes made from scratch and her daughter enjoyed an incredible bowl of oatmeal with local maple syrup, raisins, and pepitas from the Lake Placid natural food store, Green Goddess Natural Market which is one of our favorite lunch and shopping spots.
Before the synchronized skating competition started, our fun loving guests enjoyed the beautiful sunny day and made a snowman in the front yard!
