In theory, it should be easy. Just apply shampoo and conditioner and you're good to go, however we are seriously wondering why we've seen so many frizz and breakage lately. We're diving into the world of hair washing, and trust us, it's more than just a routine – it's a self-care extravaganza for your scalp and strands. So, grab your favorite shampoo and let's lather up some knowledge on how to wash your hair like a true hair-washing connoisseur!

The Pre-Wash: Detangle (pretty please)

Before you even touch that shampoo bottle, give your hair a chance to dance its way into a tangle-free zone. Grab a wide-tooth comb or Tangle Teezer brush and gently brush those knots away. Remember, detangling before washing prevents unnecessary breakage and keeps those hair strands in harmony.

Shampooing:

Think Goldilocks vibes – not too hot and not too cold. Warm water helps open up those hair cuticles and lets the shampoo work its magic. A dollop the size of a grape is all you need, rub your hands together and gently massage onto your scalp. Do this step twice to double cleanse and avoid rubbing shampoo onto your hair ends.

Conditioner:

Squeeze out a bit (just a bit – we're not heavy-handed here) and apply it mid-length to the ends of your hair. Leave it on for a minute or two while you hum your favorite tune and rinse it off. Finally, this is an extra step that will change your life forever.

Use a jet of cold water to seal those hair cuticles, locking in all the nourishing goodness from your shampoo and conditioner. And hey, it's a great way to wake yourself up, too – win-win!

Avoid washing your hair everyday and use heat protectant leave-ins if you like to use a hair dryer/straightener after. Change shampoo and conditioner every 3 months and don't forget to avoid Parabens and Sulphates.
