In a world where single-use plastics and products are (hopefully) on the way out, it’s no surprise that beauty products are also coming under the radar. Very recently the DEFRA (the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs) made a statement pledging to eliminate all avoidable single-use products, specifically putting the spotlight on wet wipes. Thankfully, if you are supportive of this initiative, there is a brand ready to use!

I will say that I very rarely use wipes of any kind and I never use them on my face. However, as a blogger wipes are really handy for removing swatches and other makeup when you’re in a bit of a rush. That’s why I love that Yes To are supportive of reducing the impact of wipes on the environment. Yes To was first created in 2016, launching the first cotton wipes to the market, their mission was to bring accessible and affordable wipes to the market, which were environmentally friendly, proudly cruelty-free and 100% vegan certified.

The Yes To wipe recipe are with 100% cellulose, a natural polymer that forms part of the living cells of all vegetation – which means that cellulose is biodegradable, compostable, and renewable. This is supported by the fact that the wipes are always bound using a plastic-free technology called Spunlace, which avoids using latex material to bind the fibers.

No matter what you’re looking for Yes To have an amazing array of products, including a range of wipes for every skin concern (if you’re that way inclined). The ingredients include Grapefruit to brighten dull skin, Tomato for blemish prone skin, Cucumber for sensitive skin, Coconut to hydrate and Tomato Charcoal to detoxify skin.

Not only do I love the environmentally-friendly concept of this brand, but I also love the product and the packaging. I absolutely love the packaging of these wipes and their attention to detail, including the little quotes as you flick the lid. The product never lets me down either, they smell incredible and they remove even the most waterproof swatches from my hand. Yes To wipes start at just £1.99, which is an absolute bargain!
