My son died. How do I go on? Is a concise book about a mother’s loss over suicide. Her son perishes as she and her husband try everything possible to resolve his understanding of the world. Even though he was monitored and was on medication, he still chooses to leave this world at the age of 22.

The author has written the book in stages of grief. She has then added her perspective and story with honesty and dignity. Although the book is tiny and does not professionally answer all the questions, it does cover what Farzana has gone through and lets us know how to move on with what has happened.

The literature is easy to read and described thoughtfully. The author has cared to let us know her inner feelings, thoughts of blame and everything else she has gone through. I personally would have wanted to read more; however, what did exist was alright.

I recommend this book to people who like memoirs and those who wish to know more about dealing with loss.
