Book Description:

The fairy lights are sparkling on the Sunnybrook village green tree and festive excitement is in the air – and at least one Little Duck Pond Cafe regular is going to have the best Christmas ever!

My Thoughts:

Well, if this novella doesn’t get you into the festive mood, I don’t know what else will!

Jaz takes centre stage in this book who has been struggling to move on in her love life due to her ex cheating on her. There has been romance in the air between her and her neighbour Milo, but Jaz is scared to give into her heart in case it gets broken again.

Set in the immediate run up to Christmas, the festive season is well and truly in the air. The children of Sunnybrook, more so Jaz’s and Milo’s daughters, really brings home what Christmas is all about and it made me wish I was a child again with all the wonderful excitement and beliefs that come with this time of year. There are some newcomers who have their own stories that added to the appeal of the story and as the village comes together to make it a magical time for one and all, well it melted my heart.

A Winter Wonderland is best enjoyed snuggled up under a blanket, in front of the fire with a lovely mug of hot chocolate. I’m seriously considering getting out my Christmas decorations and putting them up after finishing this book! Yet again the community spirit, friendships and blossoming romance is a pure delight to read and guaranteed to leave you feeling all warm and toasty inside. A gorgeously, festive read!

My thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources for inviting me to be part of the tour. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.

Rosie Green has been scribbling stories ever since she was little. Back then they were rip-roaring adventure tales with a young heroine in perilous danger of falling off a cliff or being tied up by ‘the baddies’. Thankfully, Rosie has moved on somewhat, and now much prefers to write romantic comedies that melt your heart and make you smile, with really not much perilous danger involved at all, unless you count the heroine losing her heart in love.

?Rosie’s brand new series of novellas is centred on life in a village café. The first two stories in the series are: Spring at The Little Duck Pond Cafe and Summer at The Little Duck Pond Café.
