Merry Christmas Happy Holidays
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season!
Wednesday our grandson Remington celebrated his 11th birthday. We are so proud of the wonderful young man he is growing up to be. We cherish each moment we get to spend with him.
We also had some visitors on Wednesday. Son #2, Charlotte, and Athena stopped by. Our son had to move some things around in the dining room to prepare for the guest we would be having for 2 weeks while he and his family go to Florida to spend the holidays with his fiancees family. Charlie accidentally found a couple of Christmas presents that Santa was going to leave with us to restock her play kitchen here at our house. So she was busy but I did have some cuteness overload to delightfully occupy my time. Miss Athena was talking and smiling and I just couldnt get enough.
Oh, and our guest until his family returns. He is a Chow Chow and his name is Kovu. He and Daisy have a sort of love / hate relationship. LOL Sometimes they love each other and play other times the teeth come out and crazy barking and growling ensues until they go to their separate corners. This usually happens when Mr. Dollycas is working and on the phone. 
Last week I was able to read some books from my huge TBR stacks for pure enjoyment with no obligation to review. It doesnt happen often. They also helped me complete by Literary Escapes Challenge. I will be posting a challenge wrap-up next week.
