Lots of gulls already on the water at 2:30pm, an overall count of 1750, inc 170 BH gulls, 57 Herring gulls, 26 Common gull and 3 Yellow-legged gulls, the remaining 1500 LBBs. Numbers increased quickly with steady arrivals from the south. At 3pm BH gulls had increased to 560, Herring gulls 100, Yellow-legged to 5, with final counts between 3:40-4:10pm of 6,300 LBBs, 2,100 BH gulls and 340 Herring gull. Plus 3 GBB and 5 Mediterranean gulls. Otherwise 6 Goldeneye, 5 GC grebe, 4 Little grebe and 4 Greylag among the 100 Canadas. Nice to share a couple of Yellow-legs with Andy B.
