2020 – what a year so far. Who would have predicted that we would be living through a worldwide pandemic? Covid-19 has been a scary, uncertain time for everyone and has affected nearly every industry on a massive scale. Fashion is no exception. Not only have huge designer labels had to halt production, but due to huge lifestyle changes, even what we wear has changed. On top of all of this, many people are now dealing with the financial stress of reduced work or job loss. With all this in mind, it is a perfect time to get on board with consignment shopping. With Covid, everyone’s work environment changed abruptly, transitioning from office wear every day to suddenly working from home. This quickly resulted in sweatpants and other lounge wear making a statement in the world of fashion. Now, as certain restrictions have been lifted, we are leaving the house more often, making many question how appropriate it is to still be rocking those quarantine sweats.
