And just like that. Summer’s here!

Oh. My. God! I simply can’t believe that summer’s here. Already! But where did the time go? One minute it was May, then just like that, it was July! Gosh! I’m so sorry that I haven’t updated you on...

And just like that. Summer’s here! In the photograph is a young lady in summer clothing. She's wearing a turquoise bikini, a patterned mini wrap-skirt, a patterened scarf tied as a bow in her hair, and holding a book. In the foreground is a hat, sunglasses, and lipstick, on a beach towel. In the background is a striped yellow beach umbrella, and the sea.And just like that. Summer’s here!

Oh.

My.

God!

I simply can’t believe that summer’s here.

Already!

But where did the time go?

One minute it was May, then just like that, it was July!

Gosh!

I’m so sorry that I haven’t updated you on what I’ve been doing on the blog, although I updated my followers everywhere else!

Please forgive me.

And why forsooth?

Because.

I’ve got deadlines!

DEADLINES? YUCK!

I’ve got deadlines. Yuck! In the photograph is a young lady sitting on a chair perched in the sea. She's wearing a white cream dress and is bare-legged and bare-footed. She's reading a book. In the background are rocks.I’ve got deadlines. Yuck!

Here comes the sun. Oh no! In the photograph is a young man shielding his eyes from the sun. He's wearing an orange-pink-terracotta-coloured print jacket and a black shirt. In the background is an orange-pink-terracotta-coloured rock, cliff or mountain! Here comes the sun. Oh no!

Deadlines?!?

Yep!

Deadlines!

I know!

I’m sure you all think I live a carefree life.

And I do.

Sort of.

But you know.

Outside the wonderful job of being the marvellous and ever lovely: The British Berliner

I am also a wife.

And a mother.

I have a day job.

I’m learning how to drive.

I recently re-acquainted myself with not one but two, expat organisations in Berlin namely, the Berlin British Ladies Club (BBLC) and the Berlin International Women’s Club (BIWC).

I’m associated with many galleries, museums, history, music, film, art and charitable organisations in Germany who all strive for my attention.

And I embarked on a DBA – a Doctor of Business Administration.

So you see.

I’ve got deadlines!

The others don’t worry me as much as the academic one does.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed.

Overwhelmed I tell you!

DID VICTORIA TRAVEL AT ALL?

Victoria Ade-Genschow - The British Berliner - is at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) in Istanbul, Turkey/Turkiye.
