ChatGPT is the latest innovation, and some of you have probably jumped on to try out the artificial intelligence program in recent months.
What I want to show you today is how you can use ChatGPT in your business to speed up the tasks you do, get more done and remove some of the grunt work that many business owners don’t enjoy.
When using ChatGPT in your business, think about it as a trainee admin assistant. It’s not a replacement to your superstar office manager, but more like someone who has a reasonable level of knowledge to understand your requirements and put together a draft of whatever you’ve asked for. You’ll still have to check what has been written and make adjustments where the terminology isn’t correct. A word of caution: don’t rely on ChatGPT to get specifics, like an exact statistic, correct.
As a business coach, I encourage business owners to embrace ChatGPT. Those who adopt it in their businesses effectively will see a significant increase in their productivity and that’s what makes us more successful.
In these 3 videos I have used the AI tool to perform common tasks that you might have on your to-do list in a typical month. In each example I’ll coach you on how to use it to get the best outcome for your business.

Like many business tools, (think of MS Excel), the better you can use it, the more value you’ll get from it. And also like other tools, it takes a bit of practise to get used to and to get good at using effectively.
Going forward, every time you sit at your computer and look to type something, consider whether it is worth using the AI tool to help you. Here’s a list of tasks our business coaches have identified where it might be useful:
Marketing tasks
Website content Brochure content Tender responsesPeople management tasks
Job adverts Job descriptions Performance reviews Disciplinary processes such as warning letters or performance improvement plans Training plans General business update emails to your team Speeches: Toolbox meeting presentation speech, welcome to the team speech, team member departing speechGeneral business tasks
