WWE and TNA Unite to Deliver the Dream Matches Fans are Excited For.
Earlier this week, WWE and TNA announced a “multi-year partnership aimed at creating unprecedented crossover opportunities within WWE and TNA programming for NXT Superstars and TNA Wrestling Stars.” Between Jordynne Grace in the Royal Rumble, Joe Hendry on NXT, and Sol Ruca on TNA, the announcement isn’t exactly a surprise, but still an exciting development that gives fans of both WWE and TNA the chance to get to know a whole new roster. Though the possibilities are endless, here are 5 matches that could come out of the new WWE/TNA partnership.
Tatum Paxley vs Killer Kelly
NXT’s Tatum Paxley is always eager to make new friends, and it looks like she may already have found a new one in TNA’s Killer Kelly. Paxley hopped in Kelly’s replies on X with a slew of emojis after the WWE/TNA partnership was initially announced, teasing a potential clash between the two left-of-center wrestlers.

Jordynne Grace vs Rhea Ripley
When it comes to raw power, there are few women on the WWE roster who are able to out-muscle Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley — but with the door between TNA and WWE now wide open, Jordynne Grace may well give her a run for her money. Though Grace made a surprise appearance in the Royal Rumble last year, the two have yet to cross paths in the ring (Ripley was champion at the time) making their inevitable face-off a dream match.

Masha Slamovich vs Cora Jade
Cora Jade seemingly got a head start on scouting TNA talent when she spotted Masha Slamovich in the crowd watching her match during last week’s NXT. Jade hopped on X to call out Slamovich with a simple question: “WTF are you looking at?!” With Roxanne Perez seemingly headed up to the main roster to feud with Bayley, challenging Slamovich could be the next chapter in Jade’s NXT story.

Ash by Elegance vs Charlotte Flair
One interesting quirk of the WWE/TNA relationship is the fact that there are numerous stars on the TNA roster who previously wrestled for WWE under a different name —Léi Ying Lee (Xia Li) and TNA world champion Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) to name a few. Ash by Elegance (FKA to WWE audiences as Dana Brooke) has undergone a dramatic character shift since she last graced the squared circle in WWE, and locking up with Charlotte would be the perfect opportunity to showcase how much she’s grown.

Spitfire (Dani Luna and Jodi Threat) vs Bianca Belair and Naomi
Though Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson have earned themselves a shot at Naomi and Bianca Belair’s tag gold by knocking off Unholy Union, the TNA partnership has opened up a whole new world of potential challengers for the champs. TNA’s current women’s tag team champions Dani Luna and Jodi Threat (aka Spitfire) would no doubt make formidable contenders.
