Do you live in Rizal Province or nearby cities? You shouldn't miss seeing the Wawa Dam (also known as Montalban Dam). Wawa Dam is a gravity dam constructed over the Marikina River. Pay a minimum of Php 20.00 for the Rizal environmental fee. Be amazed by the sound and view of the overflowing water of the dam. Then you can also take a day trip to the Wawa river. If you love trekking and swimming, visit this hidden place at Montalban Rizal. You can walk or ride a boat for only Php30.00. Since we went there early in the morning, we chose to walk for at least 10-15 minutes. Afterward, enjoy a dip and swim in the cold water of the Wawa river. A quick escape from the busy life is worthwhile, especially with family and friends.
