NORTH ADAMS — BFAIR’s Community Based Day Services (CBDS) program is asking for help in supporting local veterans in need. The program is hosting a supply drive during the month of August to help stock food and toiletries at the North Adams Veterans’ Services Office.

Items can be dropped off at the CBDS Program, 60 Roberts Dr., North Adams; the BFAIR offices at 771 South Church St. in North Adams, 194 Fenn St. in Pittsfield, or 18 Pequot Road in Southampton; or the Bottle & Can Redemption Center, 1000 Massachusetts Ave., North Adams.

Items needed include toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lip balm, bar soaps, shaving cream, dental floss, body washes, tissues, hand soap, Q-tips, combs, brushes, mousse, hairspray, Band-Aids, body lotion, foot powder, denture adhesive, toilet paper, peanut butter, cereals, coffee, sugar, crackers or saltines, potato chips, ramen noodles, pickles, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, canned meats and tuna, canned beef stew, canned Beefaroni or ravioli, juices (liquid and powder), rice or noodle mixes, puddings and Jell-O, canned vegetables, canned soups, and salt, pepper, and spices.

Items will be delivered to the Veterans’ Services Office in the first week of September.
