Catchalls (also known as valet trays) are a way to organize a whole lot of small items in one place, and I love them. Every now and then they need a good going-through, but basically, catchalls look great wherever they are, filled with random items. They are hoping for your loose coins, car keys, lipstick, lone battery, the more the merrier and the more useful the catchall is. In addition to being useful, they should be stylish, since they are visible accessories in the rooms they are ‘working’ in. I have a catchall on my front hall table, my bedside table, my bureau, and my bathroom sink. I considered the shape, size, and color of each one before committing to it, as they serve as accents in whatever room they’re in.
