Timely nuggets of information and ideas we want to share with you.

Hypochlorous Acid is the latest popular skin care product. It is an acid that forms when chlorine dissolves in water and it is also a substance that our bodies naturally produce in our white blood cells.  It is nature’s disinfectant, and it works to kill bacteria and irritants.  It is sold for dermatological use in spray form.  It cleanses, calms, and soothes skin and helps alleviate itchiness and irritation. It is used to treat acne and any other skin inflammations. It is safe to use daily on skin.

One of the best sprays on the market is Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray.  $28.00 for 4 fl oz.

B. Dylan Hollis is a chef who specializes in baking vintage recipes from the 1900s to the 1980s. He has many followers on Tik Tok where he posts his recipes. His cookbook is called Baking Yesteryear, and he gets rave reviews. How do Cornflake Macaroons sound?   $18.59.

I love the Scroll Bowl at Villa Bologna Pottery.  The Scroll is a heritage design from Malta.  These bowls are handmade and hand painted in Malta.  They are made from earthenware clay.  They are dishwasher safe but not recommended for the microwave or oven. The bowl is 11.22” in diameter and 3.5” high.  $145 and the bowl comes in four colors.

I recently read a good review of Crep Protect Rain and Stain Repellent.  This is the season we’re walking through slush, snow, and rain and Crep will protect leather, suede, nubuck and canvas from stains and wet by creating a protective barrier. $16.00 for 4.4 oz.
